Overtime and/or with intensive use and handling, the inside wires of the cables can get damaged and form visible bumps or knots. Those damages can lead to cable overheating during use. Please dispose of the cable safely and purchase a replacement.
There are knots in my charger cable and it is no longer smooth. Is it still safe to use?
