Hello Morris Judson thanks for the question.  Our team has been in contact with you to assist you with this question.  Please check your email.  However, we do want to share that here, as well.

To open the charger stand for the Black and Decker handheld vacuum, follow these steps:

    1. Unplug the charger from the wall outlet.
    2. Hold the charger stand with one hand.
    3. With your other hand, locate the latch or button that releases the vacuum. This is usually found on the side or back of the charger stand.
    4. Press the release button or lift the latch.
    5. Gently pull the vacuum out of the charger stand.

If you're having trouble, refer to the user manual for your specific model. If you don't have the manual, you can usually find it online by searching for the model number of your vacuum..

If your charger stand for the BLACK+DECKER dust buster Cordless Handheld Vacuum isn't opening as expected, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check for any locking mechanisms: Some charger stands may have locking mechanisms to keep them closed during transportation. Look for any buttons, switches, or levers that might release the locking mechanism and allow you to open the stand.
    2. Inspect for obstructions: Make sure there are no obstructions preventing the charger stand from opening. Sometimes debris, dust, or other objects can get lodged in the mechanism, preventing it from functioning properly.
    3. Apply gentle pressure: If the charger stand has a hinged lid or cover, try applying gentle pressure while attempting to open it. Sometimes a bit of pressure can help disengage any sticking points or tight spots.
    4. Use lubrication: If the charger stand seems to be stuck due to friction or tightness, you can try applying a small amount of lubricant to the hinges or moving parts. Be sure to use a lubricant that is safe for plastics and won't damage the charger stand or vacuum.

I also had a similar problem with my chainsaw. The saw only makes a whirring sound when the start button is pressed but does not run register2parking.
