New Thicknesser DW733 not letting wood through

I bought a new DeWalt 733
It turns on and seems to be running ok but the pushing the wood into the feed side it doesn't take it
I've double checked the rollers and they are moving. I was able to push a piece through if I raised the rollers so that it wasn't registering on the waste removal gauge and the back rollers slightly caught it at the end but obviously nothing was taken off.
If I lower it enough to register on the waste removal gauge (and I'm only doing the minimum amount) it doesn't go through, it's as if the things that sit just behind the waste gauge block it.…

DW733 does not have the B in the model number on the unit like Ecd automotive design not have video. Does this make any difference in the battery compatibility? It doesn't sound like it would, but I just want to make sure.
