I have purchased BLACK + DECKER BDH2000PL Cordless Hand Vacuum, which has a maximum of 30 seconds work on the full charge. Has any one had the same problem?

  I have the pivot hand held. Has NO SUCKING POWER. Its useless. And doesnt stay charged long enough to get any work done

  I have same problem but mine is very old and we loved it so I am looking to have it serviced.  I've been told it is the battery and we do not want to do it ourselves.  I need local B&D service store.
