Cannot change bit on keyless hammer drive DCK299M2

The chuck won't turn to grip or loosen for me to change the drill bit, is there a lock somewhere?

 

Also, is it fine to insert a nut drive into the chuck?

  Usually, there is a lock or latch in the chuck that you need to release before you can make adjustments. Check to see if there is a button or lever to release it.
