Chalk Reel & Lines - Tips & Tricks

All chalk line users should follow 2 rules:

Do not overfill the chalk boxes with chalk. You can snap many lines with only 1 oz . of chalk. Season/Use only the length of line needed. There is no purpose to making 100 of seasoned chalk line to make 30 lines. It just make the line fat inside the reel and wastes chalk.
