The No. 62 Low Angle Block Plane was manufactured between 1905 and 1942. It was 14 inches long and the cutter was 2 inches wide. The plane was made of cast iron with a rosewood handle and knob. The finish was japanned with nickel plated trimmings. With it's 12 degree cutter angle, this plane is used to plane cross and end grain hardwoods where more power is required. Unfortunately, STANLEY no longer has parts for this plane.
